Program details

Depart for Ha Long Bay via the Hong Ngoc Humanity Centre, developed to provide support to local communities including the disabled. On arrival in Ha Long board a private boat for a cruise of the bay, famous for its scenic aspect of karsts jutting out of the sea. Ha Long Bay means "Descending Dragon" and legend has it that when the Vietnamese were fighting off foreign invaders, the gods sent a family of dragons to assist them. During the battle the dragons spat out jewels that would later become the islands scattered around the bay. The cruise visits a fishing village to learn more about the culture and customs of the local inhabitants. The next stop is at one of the numerous limestone caves in the area. Also enjoy a seafood lunch on the boat, what a way to spend the day.
