* Visit the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Siam

* Admire the biggest reclining Buddha in the world at the temple of Wat Lokayasutharam

* Return to Bangkok on a leisurely river cruise

You will visit ruined temples dating back 400 years and venerated statues of the Buddha. You will be picked up by bus from the River Centre Shopping Centre and taken to the Pa-In Royal Summer Palace where you will discover an interesting mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic architecture. Then we will make straight for Ayutthaya, once the sumptuous capital of the ancient Kingdom of Siam before it was sacked and razed to the ground by the Burmese. Visit Wat Maha That, the royal monastery where the most important monks of the kingdom of Ayutthaya once lived. Then we’ll visit Wat Na Phra Mane, a temple located to the North of the Royal Island, of vital importance in the history of Ayutthaya. Admire the biggest reclining Buddha in the world at the temple of Wat Lokayasutharam. At midday we’ll leave on a river cruise where you can enjoy a traditional buffet lunch. The River Sun will offer you interesting riverside views of some of the area’s main sites. On the way back we will pass the Grand Royal Palace and the Dawn Temple (Wat Arun). The temple was the old palace when Thon Buri replaced Ayutthaya as capital of the Thai kingdom. A pleasant cruise down the Chao Phraya River will take you back to Bangkok, arriving at the point of departure at around 16:00h.
