Stride out into Santiago and see the city through the eyes of a local This sprawling metropolis is so vast and decorated with monumental urban architecture on every corner. This tour lets you get right into the history and present of Chile and its people.

You’ll be taken to the awesome Santo Lucia Hill and prepare to marvel at the remnants of a 15 million year old volcano which now holds vast neighbourhoods. You can also see the Santiago Civic Quarter, home to some fantastic buildings and great areas to explore. The tour will also take you past the Main Square of the city, as well as the Cathedral, Government Palace, National Historical Museum and the City Hall building, to name but a few. All of this just on the first day!

Start to feel more informed as on the second day of the tour depart from your Santiago hotel leaving the capital behind and let yourself be drawn towards the power of the Pacific Ocean as the tour takes you on towards Valparaiso. En route at the Curacavi Valley you will be astounded by such diversity of sceneries leading you towards Casablanca valley. Savour the trip and all of its offerings as we stop along the way so that you can visit a typical hostelry known as Millahue and seize the moment to sample the local Chilean firewater called Chicha.

The first sight of Valparaiso is a delight in itself as the country's major port is so neatly tucked away in all of its Latin America splendour. Note that it is a parliament city caressed by beautiful beaches and as you pass by the Valparaiso hills lined with picturesque houses you would be forgiven for wanting to stay. Our tour of Valparaiso will also include visits to the Plaza Victoria, Plaza Sotomayor, Naval heroes Monument as well as the renowned May 21st lookout point.
