See the wondrous city of Quito like you have never seen it before. This night trip takes you through the capital of Ecuador’s magnificent colonial neighbourhood as the sun sets over the horizon. When night falls, the many bright colours of Quito slowly adopt a more magical hue. The city glows against the darkness thanks to its many elaborate lights.

Your tour begins as daylight starts to languish. Meet up with your enthusiastic guide and head off into the labyrinthine streets of the colonial part of the city. Here you will come across countless iconic churches made even more beautiful thanks to their magnificent illuminations.

Contemplate the breathtaking Cathedral, the opulent splendour of the Government’s Palace and even enjoy a leisurely look at the famous Church of the Society of Jesus. Known in Spanish simply as La Compañia (The Society), the latter is covered and filled with many little adornments which provide the perfect surface for light to play on; at night, the walls of this church seem to some to life as light and shadow chase each other around the church’s many decorations.

After wandering for a while through the narrow streets of the colonial part of Quito, it is time to bring this enchanting tour to an end with a visit to El Panecillo. From atop this little mount, you have the very best vantage point over the city. See the colonial and the modern parts of Quito come together under the blanket of night and glow in harmony with the stars above.
