Program details

See Singapore high and low with a thrilling ride on the 42-storey high Singapore Flyer – the world’s tallest Ferris wheel – followed by a city tour. Explore the historic old town and view the most important sights and attractions, visit a historic Taoist temple, stop by a craft centre, admire the sea of colour that is the National Orchid Garden and breathe in the sights and sounds of Little India.

Rising 165 metres above the city is the Singapore Flyer, whose 28 capsules afford you stunning panoramic views of the city-state. The wheel takes about 30 minutes to go around and no detail has been spared, with even the direction of rotation in accordance with the principles of Feng shui.

Drive through the Civic District, the heartbeat of prosperous country, passing by the legendary Singapore Cricket Club at the Padang, the beautifully pristine neo-classical Old Parliament House, the old Supreme Court and the City Hall. Stop at the magnificent Merlion Park and take in the majestic views of Marina Bay.

Enjoy a moment of quiet spirituality at Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist shrines, and admire its ornate oriental architecture. Visit a Local Handicraft Centre and observe the artisan hard at work. Continue to the National Orchid Garden and be bowled over by a display of 60,000 orchids. End on a high at the vibrant and colourful district of Little India, surrounded the fragrant scents of joss sticks, jasmine and spices.
