If you only want to spend one day sightseeing, make it this one. Taking in three of Cyprus’ top attractions; Kolossi castle, the Cyprus Wine Museum and the ruins of the ancient city of Kourion.

Your first stop is the Erimi Wine Museum where you’ll learn the history of the island’s wines. Set out on a journey through centuries of Cyprus wine history. Ancient jars and vases, medieval drinking vessels, old documents and instruments illustrate how wine was produced, stored and enjoyed in the past. Photographic backdrops and audiovisual equipment bring all aspects of wine making to life, from cultivation to production. And of course, you'll get to try and buy some while you’re there. Next up is the stunning Kolossi Castle. Dating from the middle ages, it boasts an impressive list of visitors, including Richard the Lionheart. This former Crusader stronghold is located in a dramatic coastal setting near the city of Limassol. Once you’ve finished the castle tour, it’s on to the ancient city of Kourion. A treasure house of history, you’ll take a seat in its 2,000-year old amphitheatre and travel back in time as your guide brings it all back to life. You’ll also make a stop at a village house for a traditional meze lunch.
