Admire a panorama of the city from the main observation platform at the Tokyo Tower. Revel in the fine architecture of the Meiji Shrine, which nestles in a peaceful, picturesque area in the heart of this teeming metropolis.

View the Akasaka State Guest House (a former imperial palace) and National Diet Building. Enjoy a pleasant walk in the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, a place of historical interest and scenic beauty. (On Monday and Friday, visit the Imperial Palace Double Bridge instead.)

Then take a break and feast on a delicious Japanese-style lunch. (A vegetarian menu is available on request.) Continue your coach tour with a visit to the serene Hama-rikyu Garden. Enjoy a Sumida River cruise, from Hinode Pier to Asakusa, and admire a harmonious blend of old and new Tokyo.

Discover the Asakusa Kannon Temple and the vibrant Nakamise Shopping Street, two famous Tokyo landmarks. Drive through Kappabashi/ Ueno and Akihabara, where the tour disbands though a return service is available to the hotel where you were picked up.

By train, 2 minutes’ walk from Shimbashi Station, two stops from JR Tokyo Station on the JR Yamanote line, Hibiya Exit. Subway, 2 minutes’ walk from Shimbashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza line, direct connection from Exit D. 3 minutes' walk from Uchisaiwai-cho Station on the Toei Mita line, Exit A2. 10 minutes' walk from Shiodome Station on the Toei Oedo line.

Start/opening time: At 9am.

End/closing time: At 6pm.

Others: You could leave the tour in Kappa-Bashi, Ueno or Akihabara. Your tour guide gives you instructions to return to your hotel.
