Program details

The Big Bus Tour takes you to all of Washington's famous landmarks and reveals the nation's capital's fascinating history. Choose from a 24 or 48-hour hop-on hop-off pass and 4 tour routes with more than 40 stops, such as the National Mall, the Pentagon, the Arlington Cemetery and the White House. You can experience all four loops with the All Loops ticket. On your ride you may get to know the history of this city thanks to the fun and instructive explanation. The hop-on, hop-off ticket allows you the possibility to get off the bus to visit attractions. Buses run regularly and getting back on the tour is easy.

The Red Loop reaches the locations that are emblematic of the capital. The White House, U.S. Capitol, Air and Space Museum, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial are just some among many the iconic landmarks. The Blue Loop goes across the Potomac River to the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery. The journey across the Potomac provides some fantastic views and photo opportunities and deserves special attention. The Yellow Loop also crosses the city's historic centre, passing by the famous Ford Theatre before moving out towards Georgetown and its old world charm. The Green Loop is a traditional trolley ride up the sinuous slope that leads to the National Cathedral.
