Program details

Explore one of the most beautiful streets in Kiev with this tour that takes you to its highlights and to enjoy its picturesque setting. You’ll be navigated around two museums that reflect the history of the street and the city: the Bulgakov Museum and One Street Museum.

Andrew’s Descent is the most renowned street in Kiev that runs ribbon-like connecting Zamkova Hill to Podil, and is visited by many tourists on a daily basis. Your knowledgeable and friendly guide will regale you with its history from a by-gone era and will take you to its most famous landmark: Andrew’s Church, built between the 12th and 13th century. En-route, its splendid colours and brightness will impress your senses, and you’ll discover why this street is not only rich in colour, but also history.

During the tour, we also go to two museums that help to bring its history to life. The Bulgakov Museum is a literary memorial to writer Mikhail Bulgakov exhibiting authentic objects reflecting the atmosphere in which he wrote his most famous book, The White Guard. One Street Museum is a true echo of past centuries. Old paintings, photographs and objects make this a charming and informative experience of a by-gone era.
