Program details

Come with us to the Ang Thong National Marine Park and enjoy one of the most beautiful excursions in Koh Samui. Ang Thong is the second most important National Park in Thailand and consisting of over 40 islands of all shapes and sizes and is considered by many to be a lost paradise. You can relax on pristine beaches, discover exotic wildlife or just feel the deep tranquillity and peace of this privileged natural environment. You will be picked up from your hotel by a minibus that will take you the port where you will board a speedboat that will take you straight to the National Park. In the park itself cars are banned. Neither is there any electricity. The most popular island in the Ang Thong archipelago is Koh Mae. The centre of the island conceals a beautiful lagoon with crystal clear waters surrounded by limestone cliffs, connected to the sea by an underground tunnel. We will walk up to the highest point in the island from where you will be able to enjoy unique and unforgettable views over the archipelago. This climb is strongly recommended but is only for the hardy; the climb can be difficult because of the high temperatures and the harsh terrain. If the atmospheric conditions are favourable, then there will be some time for relaxation and maybe a dip in the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand.
