Description of the tour
The idea was born from the deep love for Venice of three friends that have in common the passion for cooking and the desire to share with the world the refined taste and the variety of the Venetian traditional cuisine.
You will pick fresh and seasonal produce directly from the Rialto market and then transform them into easy and tasty recipes. The Rialto market is still the place where Venetians come for shopping, for a chat and drinking a "shadow" (glass of wine) or simply for checking on the latest prices of fish and vegetables. In the kitchen of an apartment situated in a beautiful building overlooking the Grand Canal you will learn about Venetian traditional dishes and how to transform the ingredients you just purchased into easy and delicious recipes. At the end of the lesson, you will taste the dishes you have just prepared and end with a toast for a long life in good health!
