As one of China's five holy mountains, Huashan Mountain is also called Western Mountain due to its geographical location in relation to the other four sacred mountains in China. The other four are Mt. Taishan in Shandong Province, Mt. Songshan in Henan Province, Mt. Hengshan in Shanxi Province and Mt. Hengshan in Hunan Province. This one day tour will allow you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Huashan Mountain.
In the early morning, our guide and driver will meet you at the lobby of your hotel. Drive for about two hours to the Huashan Mountain, which is known for its precipitous cliff and breathtaking scenery. Situated in Huayin City, Mt. Huashan is 120 kilometers (about 75 miles) from Xian. It is famous for natural vista of steep and narrow paths, precipitous crags and a high mountain range. Its five peaks are the representative attractions and each has its distinctive charms: East Peak is the best place to enjoy the sunrise, South Peak has the highest altitude, West Peak is the most elegant, North Peak is famous as the Cloud Terrace Peak and Middle Peak is also called Jade Lady Peak.
The mountain is difficult to climb but still attracts visitors from all over the world. Today you will take cable car to the North Peak or West Peak and continue your visit. Standing on the top, you will be shocked by the magnificent peaks, vibrant pines and cypresses, and also feel the magic of nature. At the end of the tour, you will get back to the foot of mountain by cable car and we will drive you back to your downtown hotel in Xian.
