In the middle of the night, ready for a 3 hours transfer from Surabaya to Cemara Lawang. On board to your 4wd jeep to reach the first stop point at Penanjakan I (2770 m) passing through wide sea sand. From this point the stunning views of the Bromo volcano and surrounding is await and you will see the sun rise up from behind the volcano. Afterward continue by jeep down to the volcano caldera which usually still covered by mist early in the morning, and then a 25 minute horseback riding will take you to the first stair which will lead you to the rim of still active Bromo crater (2329 m). Before drive back to Surabaya, enjoy your breakfast while you still be able to view the magnificent panoramic of Mt Bromo from distance
