Program details

When your ship docks at the port of Genoa, don't miss the opportunity of visiting the traditional Mediterranean villages found along the world-renowned Italian Riviera. Your private driver will pick you up directly at the port at the prearranged time and you will leave at once for the Tigullio Gulf, passing along the scenic coastline of Liguria.

The first stop will be at the small village of Portofino, which emerges up like a crescent of the moon. Its semicircle of houses, surrounded by forest greenery, is reflected in the mirror of the surrounding water. Visit the Brown Castle (open to tourists) with its grounds full of pergolas, rose gardens and various flowers that provide an enchanting view over the bay. Continue walking on to the Church of San Giorgio, a tiny temple built on an impressive cliff promontory.

Next you continue on to the Tigullio Gulf towards Santa Margherita Ligure, an ancient fishing village. In Santa Margherita, you can take in beautiful sea and hillside landscapes. Before returning, you can't miss stopping in Rapallo. Nestled in the green coastline of the Portofino promontory, it offers glimpses of great beauty. Allow yourself to take a walk and do some shopping in the medieval old town.

You can't leave Liguria without tasting its typical dishes like pasta with pesto, focaccia and, of course, seafood. Your driver will then bring you safely back to the ship on time!.
