We are a four star Hotel located within the Golden Circle Region in South Iceland. Selfoss is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel and 21 km away from the boundary of UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park. You can admire the sky and surrounding mountains from the room or outdoor hot tubs. The hotel offers free northern lights wake up calls. WiFi and parking are available free of charge.

The hotel consists of 16 buildings with a reception, restaurant, event and meeting facilities and accommodation for 260 guests. The hotel structure is truly unique with accomomdation in 6 different categories in Superior rooms, Junior Suites, Gallery suites, Suites, two bedroom apartments, and 200 m2 Deluxe Apartments. All rooms come with balcony or terrace and access to some of the 39 geothermal hot tubs on site, both private and shared. The apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue grill and private hot tub.

Buffet breakfast is served daily and always included in the price. Live music entertains nightly at Grimsborgir's restaurant, and the menu features international dishes made with fresh local ingredients. In the summertime you can enjoy your meal on the patio.

Laugarvatn is 34 km from Hotel Grimsborgir - Your Golden Circle Retreat, while Reykjavik city centre is 70 km way. Geysir geothermal park and Gullfoss waterfall are about 50 minutes' drive from the property.
