The Rambagh Palace which was once the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur is conveniently located just 11 kms from the airport. The palace has been home to generations of royals for over 2 centuries. In 1925 it became residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. It remained the home of Jaipur royal family until 1957 when it was 1st converted into luxury hotel by Maharaja Sawai Man

The palace grounds are spread over 47 acres. The palace offers 79 rooms including suites which were the personal chambers of the former Maharaja. Every room and suite has been done up to reflect the world of royalty with exquisite antiques rich tapestries and paintings.
