"Nestled in the heart of the historic Chiang Mai, Kampaeng Ngam Hotel offers luxurious contemporary Lanna living experience in the newly renovated half wood half concrete building. With two main types of accommodations, both decorated in simple yet elegant Lanna style, with fully equipped bathrooms and hotel facilities including swimming pool and living area. Our guests can sense the feelings of this ancient city while enjoying the modern living comfort. Our bar & restaurant serves local Thai food, as well as Western and Chinese dishes. Our signature drink is also available upon request.

Surrounded by the historical sights of ancient city of Chiang Mai, the hotel takes its name from the ancient earthen wall called “Kampaeng-Din,” which it is facing. This wall, dating back since the thirteenth century during King Mang Rai period, represents the glorious past of Lanna Kingdom.
