Program

Day 1 – ROME – NAPLES – POMPEII - SORRENTO Departure from Destination Italia 's Sightseeing office at 7h30 to Naples (possibility of pick up from central Rome hotels: please remind to order your box breakfast at your hotel the day before departure!) Upon arrival in Naples, the group will enjoy a nice walk of the city centre. After lunch in a typical restaurant of Naples (drinks not included), the group will continue to Pompeii for a guided visit of the archaelogical area. This ancient Roman city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 a.C. This archaeological journey through the ancient city will give you the opportunity to better understand Roman used to live at that time. The visit of Pompeii also includes a visit of a coral and cameo factory where we will have the opportunity to admire and purchase items made with a technique dating back to the Greek times. Proceed to SORRENTO, the gateway of Amalfi coast with his colourful historical centre and pretty waterfront with fishing boats and new Marina Grande cruise pier. Check in at the hotel dinner and overnight. Meals: L D

Day 2 – POSITANO American Buffet breakfast at the hotel and time at leisure to spend the day on the beach, have shopping or visit the near historic center of Amalfi. You can also visit the picturesque RAVELLO with the beautiful Villa Rufolo and magnificent gardens of Villa Cimbrone. Have a romantic dinner in one of the pretty restaurants all around the harbor or in the center. Overnight in Positano Meals: B

Day 3 - POSITANO - POMPEII – ROME American buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Meeting point at the hotel at 2.30/3:00pm and transfer to Pompeii where you will join the bus to come back to Rome. Arrival in Rome around 9h00p.m. Guaranteed drop off point: Viale Washington, Viale Luigi Enaudi, Termini Station Area, Via Ludovisi. End of our services. Meals: B
