5km either side of the Ben Hai river was declared a DMZ - a stark contrast to what really took place in this region in Vietnam War. DMZ is worth an exploration about contemporary history of Vietnam.
Highlights / General details
The tour guide will pick-up you at hotel and take you for a short drive to Dong ha Town. Then continue to drive on national route No. 9 to visit Dakrong Bridge, Rock pile, Khe Sanh combat base, Ethnic minority villages, and the Ho Chi Minh trails.
You will head back to Dong Ha for lunch. In the early noon, we will following highway No. 1 to visit Hien Luong bridge, Ben Hai River, and the 17th parallel. And then you will stop at Doc Mieu, Vinh Moc Tunnels. Tour will end around 6:30pm at Hue.
