Il programma nel dettaglio

Walk the streets of Xi’an on this eye-opening tour of one of China’s most interesting cities. To explore Xi’an as a pedestrian is without a doubt the most insightful way of roaming the city, for you learn to appreciate it from the perspective of locals.

Once acquainted with your knowledgeable guide, begin your adventure at the very heart of Xi’an. From there, you will stroll over to many of the city’s most interesting sights and attractions. As you wander from site to site, you won’t be able to help but contemplate the stunning variety of archaeological structures around you; Xi’an has such a long and rich history, these buildings were all erected in different historical periods. Some of the monuments you’ll get to see upfront are the amazing Bell Tower; the huge South Gate at the old city walls; and the simply breathtaking Drum Tower, hulking in the centre of an enormous roundabout.

The tour will also give you the chance to mix and mingle with the locals at the quaint wicker-ware market, where you could even try to haggle for a singular hand-crafted souvenir. Another great place to see the locals congregate is religious sites: explore a Taoist temple and even the Great Mosque. Along the way, nibble on some of Xian’s famous local munchies. Last but not least, to complete this tour which emphasises on interaction with the locals, visit a retirement home for a more tender experience. Complete the tour with a meal at a delicious dumpling restaurant.
