Il programma nel dettaglio

Discover the best Auckland has to offer in this sightseeing tour of New Zealand’s largest city, known in the Maori language as Tamaki Makaurau or ‘the isthmus of 1,000 lovers’. Then visit Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World and learn all about the spectacular natural history of the Pacific Ocean.

The half-day tour starts with a trip over iconic Harbour Bridge. Next you’ll make the climb to Mount Eden. Enjoy the incredible views over the city and sparkling Waitemata and brooding Manukau harbours from the summit of this dormant volcano. Learn all about Auckland’s volcanic history; the city is set on 52 dormant volcanic cones, the most significant being the Rangitoto Island at the entrance to the Waitemata harbour.

From here we’ll head down to the Auckland Domain, the city's oldest park, which is situated on a 62,000-year-old volcano. The sightseeing tour also includes the trendy shopping area of Parnell Village with its many historical buildings now transformed into boutiques, antique, craft and specialist shops.

The tour will then take you along the scenic waterfront route of Tamaki Drive before visiting Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World. Learn about the city's fascinating history and discover spectacular scenery before plunging under Auckland's waterfront for a scuba diver's view of the incredible ocean that surrounds us. Come face to face with sharks, massive stingrays and other incredible deep sea creatures and watch live King and Gentoo Penguins play in a simulated Antarctic environment.
