Journey to the northeast of Nuevo Leon, where we will visit the town of Bustamante, located at the entrance of the Sierra de Gomas and the Sierra Madre mountains. Learn the traditional process of making mescal, and then visit the historic centre and the Señor de Tlaxcala church to understand a little more about the history of this special place.

Head off to the caves, which have a history of their own. They are 50 to 60 million years old and their walls are decorated with marine fossils, because the caves were once submerged in sea water. Marvel at the impressive stalactites and stalagmites that also line the caves. Before the day comes to a close, take a trip to Ojo de Agua, a picturesque place surrounded by walnut creeks where you will be able to embrace the legacy of the Tlaxcaltecas and sample the delicacies of the most delicious bakery in town.
