Say ‘I do’ deep in the heart of the Grand Canyon with a helicopter wedding tour in what is reverently called ‘America’s Cathedral’, so great is its beauty and the awe it inspires. Taking romance to a new level, you will be whisked away by private helicopter to the Grand Canyon to celebrate your nuptials by the Colorado River more than 1,200 metres (4,000ft) below the rim.

Taking romance to a new level, you will be whisked away by private helicopter to the Grand Canyon to celebrate your nuptials by the Colorado River more than 1,200 metres (4,000ft) below the rim.

This dream package includes a limousine service from your hotel to the Marriage Bureau and on to the helicopter pad – and from there back to the hotel after the ceremony. It also includes you flight by private helicopter to the West rim of the Grand Canyon, the official who will perform your wedding, a professional photographer – who’ll take 100 poses and deliver the photos in a high-resolution CD within 24 hours. The bride will receive a 12-rose cascade bouquet and the groom a rose boutonniere. Also included are a 15cm (6in) round wedding cake, the chauffer’s gratuity, the minister’s gratuity and the licence fee. Everything you could ask for is covered!

The flight out takes you on a scenic journey over Lake Las Vegas, Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam before landing at the Grand Canyon, where the ceremony will take place on a picturesque bluff by the mighty Colorado River. The flight back follows a route along the shores of Lake Mead and, as a grand finale, passes the hotels and resorts along the Las Vegas Strip.
