Il programma nel dettaglio

All aboard for an invigorating sea angling tour! Apart from introducing you to the world-famous fishing grounds off the coast of Iceland, this excursion will also enable you to feast on your own freshly-caught fish at the end of the day.

Experienced fishermen and novices alike will find our sea angling cruise the perfect tonic for the stresses and strains of hectic 21st-century lifestyles. The experience of taking deep lungfuls of fresh Atlantic air, being out on the open ocean and catching your first fish of the day is one that is genuinely hard to beat. We’ll head directly for the fishing grounds in Faxafloi, which have been attracting Icelandic fishermen for centuries. Experienced skippers know the best places to go and are happy to share their wisdom and knowledge with all on board, providing expert commentary and advice. The most commonly caught species are cod, catfish, haddock, mackerel and pollock. At the end of the tour the crew barbecue the catch on board for any anglers who want to sample the results of their day’s labour there and then. Or alternatively you can take your catch home or to the Elding Bistro to enjoy a fully cooked meal.

This excursion presents both seasoned anglers and complete beginners with a unique opportunity to enjoy the fishing to be had in some of the most richly-stocked waters of this part of the north Atlantic.
