Discover the mysteries of the sea with a day that combines whale watching with either snorkeling or diving in the opulent waters of Pingvellir National Park. This exhilarating day will have you exploring the ocean from above and below the surface; a wondrous experience.

Begin your day by floating around in zero gravity, peering 40 metres down to the bottom in the purest water on earth. Snorkel or dive in the crystal clear glacial waters of Silfra, enjoying remarkable visibility in the crack that separates the European and American continental shelves. Your professional guide will be there to lead you both over and under the surface. Take in the breathtaking sights of a one hour snorkeling excursion or a four hour dive to even greater depths. Once you emerge from the idyllic waters, you'll make your way to Reykjavik's old harbour where you'll board a boat and set sail into the Faxafloi Bay. Keep your eyes to the water, and attempt to catch a glimpse of playful whales and frolicking dolphins. Known for a rich variety of sea birds, remark on the beauty of majestic gannets and adorable puffins. As these animals are in their natural habitat, a sighting cannot be guaranteed, but the attempt will surely be made.

This day will leave you mesmerized by your snorkeling or diving experience in the stunning waters of Pingvellir National Park and captivated by the natural wildlife of coastal Iceland. Enjoy the opportunity to explore both above and below the surface for a unique insight into a world unlike your own.

End/closing time: 7pm.

Others: When booking, don't forget to mention your height and weight so that you'll be provided with the necessary equipment in the appropriate size. We recommend bringing, or wearing, warm undergarments such as fleece/wool sweater, pants and socks.

Option Two: Available 15 May to 15 September: Whales and diving. Meeting/pick-up point: Hotel pick-up.
Start/opening time: 8am.
End/closing time: 8.30pm.
Languages: English, or other requested languages: German, Spanish, French.
Others: When booking, don't forget to mention your height and weight so that you'll be provided with the necessary equipment in the appropriate size. We recommend though bringing, or wearing, warm undergarments such as fleece/wool sweater, pants and socks.
