Il programma nel dettaglio

Admire Iceland’s most stunning landscapes on this double tour combining the Highland Road and the Golden Circle Evening Tour. Discover, among many other wonders, the second highest pass in Iceland and contemplate the stunning stark scenarios with a sunset backdrop. You’ll be sure to never forget the magic of this country.

Your adventure starts shortly after midday, so you can have a relaxing morning in the hotel or meander round the vicinities. Drive over to Deildartunguhver, where you will meet up with the guide and the rest of the group. Continue then towards the staggering waterfalls of Barnafoss and Hraunfossar. They stretch out over the panorama like tireless water giants. This is a point for taking cameras out of their holsters and shooting some breath-taking stills. Head over then to the beautiful highland pass of Kaldidalur. After that, move on to the Þingvellir National Park, where you will be joined by the Golden Circle Evening Tour.

Due to its unparalleled features and beauty, Þingvellir National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004. Here the Icelandic parliament, Alþingi, was established in 930 AD. After the park, wander on to a last spectacular waterfall, Gullfoss, which you will admire under the golden rays of the setting sun. Finally, check out some spouting geysers at a geothermal area. The two most astounding ones even have names of their own: Geysir and Strokkur. Head back to the hotel with the certainty that you’ve seen some sights that can only be described as magical.
