Then we will do a walking tour of Old Batavia, our vehicle will stop at the entrance of the China town, we will walk to the oldest China town area in Indonesia, here we visit the Golden Wisdom Taosit temple dating back to the 1650's. We also will visit Fatahilla Square and Sunda Kelapa Old Harbour. Glodok, originally just outside the city walls, is an area characterised by winding lanes, slanting red tiled roofs and small dark shops and a hub of the Chinese community. Sunda Kelapa, is in the north of the city at the mount of the Ciliwung River. This is where the Portuguese traded with the Pajajaran Kingdom in the early 16th century and now is still a busy inter-island port as one of teh finest sights has to offer.
