Set in the visually stunning Ourika Valley in the heart of the beautiful Moroccan countryside, the bio-aromatic gardens are the first of their kind in Morocco and include more than 50 healing plants. With an aim to educate the public about the benefits of these plants and to protect the environment as a whole, the gardens are a fascinating trip away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
Soak up the fantastic landscape of the Moroccan countryside as you are collected from your hotel and driven away from the city to the foot of the majestic Atlas Mountains. Here in the Ourika Valley you will arrive at the gardens and be guided around the wide array of healing plants that are carefully nurtured within its walls. Your guide will explain all the techniques used to develop these plants and to better protect the environment as a whole.
On leaving the gardens you will have the opportunity to stroll through the beautiful Ourika valley and admire the flora, fauna and wildlife that call it home. A delicious lunch will be served in a picturesque local restaurant which boasts fantastic views of the Atlas Mountains before you will climb higher still to a perfect photo stop point. With stunning panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains, it is the ideal place to get the perfect snap to remember your journey out of Marrakech.
