Delve into Desenzano del Garda’s rich history while visiting ancient monuments like the UNESCO World Heritage-listed prehistoric pile-dwelling (stilt house) settlements. Then, climb aboard a boat for a tranquil cruise over the Sirmione, an ancient town replete with quaint cobbled streets and historical landmarks.
After revitalizing with lunch during some relaxed free time (own expense), pay a visit to a beautiful Roman villa and the Grottoes of Catullus (Grotte di Catullo) independently.
