Il programma nel dettaglio

After breakfast at hotel, we depart to visit the cultural highlights and to explore the surrounding villages. Leave the city behind and drive through fertile farmland to one of the oldest villages in the outskirts of Hanoi. Located northwest of Hanoi, is a very quiet and peaceful small community and the Vietnamese typical house and village, named Duong Lam ancient Village, where people have maintained a simple way of life for hundreds of years! The village provides an intriguing glimpse into the Vietnamese way of life.

Get on bike and start to explore the village, observing age-old customs and architecture as it is known one of the only Vietnamese ancient villages left. You will visit what the locals call a “fresh morning market”. The market is so called because of the abundance of fresh produce, vegetables, fruits, flowers, and anything that moves! You will be invited into the ancient house to observe how Vietnamese people go about their daily lives. Sit down and relax in the shade of local home to experience the wonderful array of teas or kinds of herbs and Vietnamese thick coffee and a taste of their exotic flavors while watching the demonstration of Vietnamese art of cooking, simply delicious!

After lunch drive back Hanoi with a drop to visit The Ethnology Museum, a newly opened museum exhibiting history and culture of ethnic minorities living in Vietnam; detailed explanations are given in Vietnamese, English, and French.
