This morning our experienced driver will collect you from your Hotel, check you in and issue you with our Kuranda Boarding Pass.
This includes a detailed itinerary with timings, as well as your Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail tickets, allowing you to proceed straight to the boarding area. Your first stop this morning is Tjapukai, a park filled with interactive experiences giving you an authentic insight into Aboriginal culture. Time is allowed to explore the many activities including the Tjapukai Aboriginal dancers, spear throwing, bush food demonstrations and more.
It’s then just a short walk to the Skyrail Smithfield Terminal. Board Skyrail at your allocated time and enjoy an unforgettable journey over and through the world’s oldest continually surviving tropical rainforest. There are two stops along the way to disembark and explore. Once you arrive in Kuranda, there is free time allowed to explore this unique village.
Explore the Heritage Markets or use your Kuranda Boarding Pass to gain discounts to popular attractions. Make your way to Kuranda Station to the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail for one of the most unique rail journeys in Australia. Sit back and relax as this famous railway winds its way from Kuranda to Freshwater Station, passing spectacular waterfalls and into the beautiful Barron Gorge.
Once you disembark at Freshwater Station, our driver will return you to your Hotel.
