Orange Bay is situated in Hanover. Along with the two other western parishes, St. James and Westmoreland, Hanover played a vital role. Oral history says that this village got its name because of the river that enters the sea in its vicinity. The different races that settled in these parishes have retained much of the heritage that they brought to Jamaica from Europe and Africa over 500 years ago. The Tour includes: Visit to Vivian’s Beauty Salon and Fashion House Community welcome at the Church Hill Primary School with locally made refreshments from Yard Vybz Pastry Shop, local fruits in season and school entertainment, Tour of St. Augustine Anglican Church – one of the heritage sites in the community.
