Il programma nel dettaglio

Relive all your childhood dreams as you cross the Mojave in a journey perilously undertaken over the centuries by conquistadors, missionaries, cowboys and settlers. See the Hoover Dam, a 1930s feat of engineering that still marvels and drive through a 900-year-old Joshua tree forest before arriving at the Grand Canyon West Rim.

Behold the majesty of the Grand Canyon, up to 29km (18 miles) wide at some points and carved as deep as 1.6km (1 mile) into the earth by a 446km-long (277 miles) stretch of the Colorado River. The West Rim is renowned for its spectacular red rock formations and a number of outstanding features that have made it one of the most popular areas. Among the many landmarks are Guano Point and Eagle Point, where the famous Skywalk is located near the dwellings of the Hualapai Native American tribe.

You can also experience two ‘wonders’ in one day with the optional tour of the Hoover Dam. See a fascinating film about its construction and history, visit the exhibition exhibit, enjoy the views from the observation deck and venture down to power plant.
