No trip to Krabi would be complete without an elephant ride through its lush tropical scenery. There are several elephant camps around Krabi that offer hour long elephant rides. Discover the tropical rainforest from the back of these tame and friendly animals as you admire the Krabi River and the rubber, palm-oil and pineapple plantations along its banks. The trip consists of an hour-long elephant ride and another hour’s trek through the jungle including time for feeding the elephants and watching a fascinating demonstration on how rubber is extracted. A great two hour excursion, combining history, adventure and a jungle trek – for anybody looking for something different!
