Barcelona based company Cooltra, runs a fleet of more than 3000 scooters throughout Spain’s most visited cities. Having a scooter to get around is not only a lot of fun, but it is also the most comfortable way to move around within the Spanish cities. You won’t need to worry about searching for parking, being squashed in the metro or paying expensive taxi fees. With one of our scooters you are flexible to go about you please and seek out places you usually would not.



At Cooltra, we work hard to provide unbeatable prices and a professional service at all times. Our team is always on hand to give you useful tips to enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Cooltra has over 25 rental points in Ibiza, Formentera, Mallorca, Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid. We also supply extra services such as the delivery and collection of scooters in hotels, scooter rental service from the airport, ferry tickets to Formentera and many other alternatives that will make your experience even more satisfying.

We only ask that you are over the age of 18, and hold a license that allows you to ride a 50cc scooter. For those wishing to ride a 125cc, we ask that you are over the age of 21, and have held a license a minimum of 3 years, or that you hold a license that permits you to ride a 125cc.



Rent includes third party insurance and excess reduction, unlimited mileage, free upgrade to 100 / 125cc and roadside assistance service should you encounter any unforseen circumstances.



Basic Insurance

You must cover the costs of up to 500€ for damages and the insurance will cover the rest.



Excess Reduction

For the standard models there is an extra reduction of the excess to € 0.0. This reduces the amount of the deductible from € 500 to € 0.0. The loss of the helmet, or another extra (like the keys) or of some mobile element of the vehicle is not included in the excess reduction, nor is negligence such as making a mistake when refueling and putting diesel in place of petrol (95/98).



IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please bear in mind that you only need to provide the names of the drivers when you make the booking. If you want to rent a scooter for one driver and one passenger, please make the reservation for just one person. In the instance where you are more people. Eg.If you want to book 2 scooters, for 2 drivers and 1 passenger, you only need to make the reservation for just two people. Hire includes passenger helmet.

Requirements
