The Alhambra Palace Complex is one of the world's most visited buildings and rightly so as you'll find out for yourself. This beautiful series of palaces, perched high on a hill overlooking the city is the culmination of centuries of Islamic art and architecture in Moorish Spain, the flowering of a unique syncretic culture. In this guided tour you'll visit the different palaces and courtyards as well as the incredible Generalife gardens. And then end this memorable day with a relaxing massage and aromatherapy session in a traditional Hamman.

The Alhambra is located on a once inaccessible hill overlooking the city most ancient neighbourhoods and the valley of the River Darro. It was originally built as a fortress in 899 before being converted into a Royal Palace by Yusuf I, Sultan of Granada. Your knowledgeable guide will show you around the Royal Palace Complex with its Harem, the Court of the Myrtles with its large pond used for cooling the buildings in the summer heat, the magnificent Hall of the Ambassadors and the breathtakingly beautiful Court of the Lions and the Hall of the Abencerrajes.

We'll also the visit the Generalife Palace and Gardens built during the reign of Muhammad III (1302-1309) and redecorated shortly afterwards by Abu I-Walid Isma'il. The complex was used as summer palace and retreat by the Nazrid emirs of Granada. Admire the Patio de la Acequia with its long pools framed by flowerbeds, fountains, colonnades and pavilions, and the Sultana's Garden, thought to be inspired by the style of mediaeval Persian Gardens.

And then spend relax in a traditional Hamman – enjoy hot and cold baths, a relaxing massage and pamper yourself with an aromatherapy session. Remember to bring your swimsuit and a towel.

Start or opening time: Arab baths available every day at 6 pm. Please remark on the booking the time for the baths.
Languages: Alhambra tour: Spanish, English, German and French.
Others: Alhambra: It is necessary to advice about the age of the child in remarks when you do the booking, otherwise will pay as an adult.
Arab baths: For the baths, clients have to go by themselves. Includes aromatherapy, massage and tea. Customers must bring swimsuit. Customers will be given towels and lockers. Not recommended for children under 14 years old.
