Full day cruise to Gozo, the Fernandes I is a beautiful 26.5 metre long Schooner Rigged Turkish Gullet with a large forward deck, covered stern deck and a large saloon. The Fernandes departs from the Sliema Marina and cruises North westwards towards Gozo.
We drop anchor in a secluded bay in Gozo at approximately 11.15 a.m. En-route one sees the panoramic cliffs, coves and inlets. The rest of the morning is spent swimming, and snorkelling or just sunbathing and relaxing on the large decks, while our stewards prepare a delicious Buffet. After lunch we sail towards Comino, where we drop anchor in the beautiful Blue Lagoon and spend the rest of the afternoon swimming in the magical crystal clear water of the lagoon. (Optional boat rides to the caves are organised: Tickets sold on board).
Meeting/pick-up point: Hotel pick-up.
Start/opening time: April, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, departures at 10am, returning at 4:30pm.
May and October, daily departures at 10am, returning at 4.30pm.
June to September, daily departures at 9.30am, returning at 5.30pm.
Languages: English.
Others: Lunch is included and fresh fruit is also served in the afternoon. A fully stocked bar and toilet facilities are available on board. In case of high swell in the Blue Lagoon, the Captain will stop in another sheltered bay in Comino. The company deserves the right to alter or cancel this excursion according to prevailing weather conditions.
