Make the most of your holiday in Rome and take a day trip to picture postcard Florence. Travel both ways by train to take in the stunning cradle of the renaissance, known worldwide for its treasures or art and architecture. Delight at the squares, the streets and the masterpieces within this stunning ancient city.


Take a stroll through the beautiful city of Florence at your own pace, passing by some of the city’s most famous landmarks. Pass by sights such as the Palazzo Pitti, one of the most famous renaissance palaces in the city. The palace is not far from the Ponte Vecchio, the famous stone bridge which once held small markets and is now famously still home to many shops. The Ponte Vecchio is one of Florence’s most famous landmarks and is well worth a visit while you’re in the city.


Enter the splendid Uffizi Gallery, home to some of the world’s most famous paintings from the renaissance masters. See their collection of works from DaVinci to Botticelli, Titian to El Greco and many more. The gallery is a definite place to visit for those who have a particular interest in art, or even just the renaissance period in Italy in general.


After walking around the city you’ll be able to have a fantastic lunch in a restaurant located in the great Santa Croce Square, in the heart of Florence. Experience fine dining and Italian cuisine in an authentic Florentine restaurant whilst you savour the delicious food and admire your stunning backdrop.

Others:Customers meet the guide at the meeting point in Rome. From there they take the ‘Italo’ train from Tiburtina Station. Departure from Rome aprox. 8am and from Florence aprom. 6pm.
