Discover the magic of Florence in a single day on our Best of Florence & Uffizi Gallery Tours, visiting all of the famous sites and skipping the long lines – at the Accademia to see the imposing David and at the Uffizi to see Botticelli’s masterpieces – and enjoy the complex beauty of the Duomo and the hidden architectural gems of the city center.

Your morning begins with the Best of Florence tour, with Skip the Line access to the Accademia Gallery where you will have the unique opportunity to marvel at Michelangelo’s statue of the Slaves and his magnificent 17 foot marble masterpiece, the David. Then, you will enjoy a comprehensive walking tour visiting the most famous sites of the city center including the Duomo, with a visit of the inside, “Il Porcellino”, the leather market as well as the Ponte Vecchio.

Ask your guide for recommendations for the best lunch spots, pizza, pasta or some local specialties - it's your choice! We give you plenty of free time to enjoy lunch as you wish before we meet again for the next portion of our tour.

The second half of our day in the afternoon will begin at the Uffizi Gallery where you’ll have the chance to behold in person the immediately recognizable works of Botticelli -- “Birth of Venus” and “Primavera”. The Uffizi contains signature works of the Italian masters, including Michelangelo & DaVinci. Listen as your expert English speaking guide recount fascinating stories about the lives of the artists, celebrated architects, and wealthy patrons that contributed to the Gallery. This very special visit concludes atop the Gallery with a lovely view of the city center from the rooftop terrace.

Please note that on Sundays we do not have skip the line access to the Accademia as every State-run museum is free on that day. Therefore, instead of visiting the Accademia, we offer an extended walking tour of the city, including Mercato di San Lorenzo, Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace (from outside), and the characteristic and typical area of Santo Spirito.
