Explore the four islands of the Santorini caldera in one day and experience landscapes that would be more fitting of the moon than the Mediterranean.

This epic cruise sails into the heart of the caldera formed thousands of years ago by a catastrophic volcanic implosion that smashed into four what had been one single island.

The journey begins at Athinios port, where you will be brought by bus after being picked up at your village’s meeting point.

You will then sail to Nea Kameni, the larger of the two islets in the centre of the caldera, which is where the volcano crater is located. There, you will have the thrilling experience of hiking to the rim of the crater. You can walk around the edge and take photos while admiring the views over this barren moon-like landscape.

The next destination is Palia Kameni, the smaller of the isles, for a swim in the hot springs created by the volcano’s underwater currents.

After this reinvigorating spot of hydrotherapy, the boat will sail above underwater craters to Thirasia, where we will stop to eat in the small traditional taverns, swim in the crystalline waters or even visit Manolas, a cobble-stoned hamlet perched high above Thirasia that boasts a cathedral, to enjoy the views over the caldera, Santorini and beyond.

The boat will then sail to Oia, the northernmost village of Santorini itself, where it will stop for a short time. You can either disembark or continue the journey to Athinios port.

Meeting/pick-up point: Athinios port.
Start/opening time: Depart from Athinios port at 11am.
End/closing time: After Sunset (Sunset time depending on the day of the summer, 8:15-8:45pm)
