This half-day excursion accompanied by a qualified guide takes you to the sacred island that in ancient Greek mythology was the birthplace of Apollon and Artemis. In classical times Delos was a centre of trade, politics and religion. Nowadays uninhabited, the whole island is an archaeological site, one of the most important in the eastern Mediterranean. You have the chance to visit the remains of the temple of Apollon, the sanctuary of Artemis, the ancient city, the theatre and stroll through the Avenue of Lions. The museum of Delos exhibits classical sculptures, both Hellenic and Roman, as well as storage vessels and home appliances of from those eras.
