The journey into the Troodos Mountains is remarkable. You’ll pass small villages and experience the traditional Cypriot life.
As you travel high in the Troodos Mountain you will have your first stop in Anogyra Village (40 minutes ride approximately). In Anogyra village you will have 15 miuntes to visit Holy Cross church.
Next, hit the road again and after 30 minutes you will be in Arsos village where you will enjoy a 30 minutes coffee break (included). After that, drive to the Tzelefos bridge ( 35 minutes approximately) via the forest and discover this wonderful bridge, part of Venetian Bridges nature trail which connects three of the Venetian Bridges of Pafos Forest. The location around the bridge is perfect for all nature lovers but also for photographers. Enjoy your 35 minutes free time and do not miss the opportunity to capture the perfect picture.
Then you will be driven to Kalopanayiotis Village (60 minutes approximately) where you will enjoy traditional Cyprus lunch (one hour break) and visit Ayios Lambadistis Monastery. The monastery is 40 minutes away and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a complex of three churches - Ioannis Lampadistis, Agios Irakleidios and a Latin chapel - all under a single, enormous timber roof.
Before heading back to the resorts, you will be driven to a local winery (50 minutes) where you will enjoy a wine tasting (30 minutes).
