-Tenryuji Temple, the first among the city's five great Zen temples

-Togetsukyo Bridge , also as known as moon-crossing bridge, famous picturesque bridge over Oi River

Arashiyama is a pleasant, touristy district in the western outskirts of Kyoto. The area has been a popular destination since the Heian Period (794-1185), when nobles would enjoy its natural setting. Arashiyama is particularly popular during the cherry blossom and fall color seasons. It is a small town on the Oi River. Arishiyama also owns Tenryu-ji temple, one of the 14 World Heritage Sites in Kyoto. Actually, Arashiyama is treated as one essential part of Kyoto 1 day tour, but it can be dug deeper.

In this tour, you will visit Okochi Mountain Villa, which is one of the top sights in Kyoto. It rivals any of the city’s imperial properties. Afterwards enter famous Bamboo Forest Path and walking through to Nonomiya Shrine, the shrine has a lengthy history, founded in antiquity as a purification shrine for imperial princesses appointed as priestesses for Ise Shrine. Afterwards proceed to Tenryuji Temple. Tenryuji is the most important temple in Kyoto's Arashiyama district. It was ranked first among the city's five great Zen temples, and is now registered as a world heritage site. Last visit of the day is Togetsukyo Bridge. The Togetsukyo Bridge is Arashiyama's well known, central landmark. Many small shops, restaurants and other attractions are found nearby.
