Arrive and transfer to the hotel.

The first half of the day is dedicated to visiting some of the most classic locations in the 'Cultural' Capital of Vietnam. Passing in front of the impressive mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, you enter a park that was once the residence of the Governor General of Indochina, as well as the house in which housed the President. Not far from here lays the delightful, "One Pillar Pagoda." Built in 1049. In front of it are the Dien Huu Pagoda, the Van Mieu and the Confucian Temple of Literature, which is one of the oldest universities in Asia and dates back to 1070. At the heart of the city lies the Lake of the returned sword with the islet of Jade Mountain Temple (Quan Thanh Temple).
The day ends with about an hour of the Water Puppet show: The only show of this kind in the whole world, where the actors are wooden puppets and ancient stories are retold and adapted to modern everyday life situations, based off popular traditional legends. The whole show with the wooden puppets on water made stage is something not to miss.

Transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay. Full day visit in Halong Bay. After a stop at a local show centre famous for its production of silk, ceramics and stone sculptures. You can continue to visit Halong Bay, considered by many as the "eighth wonder of the world' on a traditional handmade wooden boat which has been carefully restored. The boat will cruise between the myriad of Islands, Islets, rocks and reefs. The cruise on the boat is marvelous. Imagine sailing in a turquoise sea sprinkled with thousands of jagged limestone islands. Visit natural caves with stalagmites and stalactites that creates an extraordinary and beautiful scenery.

Day 3:
HALONG BAY - HANOI - DANANG/HOI AN (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
The morning is dedicated to visiting the endless attractions of Halong Bay. Return to the port where we will disembark.

Half day will be dedicated to visiting Hoi An by cyclo. Although afterwards, you can walk along the charming streets of Hoi An that are lined with dozens and dozens of shops, boutiques and art galleries. Then visit the lovely Japanese bridge, before visiting a temple of the rich Chinese community. Continue the tour, by entering the former home of a powerful merchant of the past centuries. Ending with the silk factory, where you are amongst thousands of tempting items to purchase. For more sophisticated travelers, you can purchase elegant suits.

Half-day visit of Danang. Visit the rocky massif of Ngu Hanh Son. Known as the "Five Marble Mountains" or the "Five Elements and Water" or Thuy Son. Discover a fascinating maze of cave temples, hidden within the five sacred marble hillocks. At the foot of the mountain, in Dong Hai Village, hundreds of families still devote themselves to the old art of stonework. Follow a brief stone staircase, which leans against the rock wall which was built at the time of Emperor Minh Mang who built the Linh Ung Pagoda. One of the most revered places of worship in the region. Then we will proceed to visit the Cham Museum in Danang. Built in 1961by Ecole Francais D'Extreme-Orient. Which recently was expanded and renovated. In its rooms, you will discover the masterpieces of Cham statues ranging from the VII Century till the IXIV century.
Transfer to Hue. The former capital of Vietnam from 1805 to 1945.

HUE - SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Full day excursion of Hue. The Nguyen emperors began building the mighty City of Citadela (Prohibited City) at the center of the magnificent imperial city in 1802. The city contains the Hall of the Five Phoenixes, the Peace Palace Supreme and the Dynastic Temple: The Mieu. The grand buildings are arranged in a harmonic succession, according to geomantic principles enshrined in Chinese science.

The visit continues up the Valley of the Perfume River to reach the Imperial Mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Then visit the Heavenly Lady Pagoda, Thien Mu and Huong Giang which is located on the left bank of the Perfume river. Ending with a pleasant walk among the banks of the big Dong Ba market.

Flight to Saigon
Then transfer to the Hotel in Saigon.

Half-day visit to Cu Chi tunnels. We leave Saigon and head to visit the Cu Chi tunnels, the famous underground city of the Vietcong. Who managed to create an incredible underground network of warehouses, dorms, armories, kitchens, infirmaries and command posts linked together by 250 kilometers of tunnels and galleries of those who resisted. The tunnels stayed untouched for the next years from bombs and attacks by the American troops. The tunnels were first built during the French occupation but during the war with the USA they were developed. Some facilities were made available to the public and mannequins are mounted with weapons at strategic guard points. While visiting this site, we will watch a documentary movie shot by the Vietcong.

In the afternoon, we return back to the city center for the second half of the day. During the visit in the heart of Saigon, we will visit the War Remnants Museum and the square where the colonial era is revived. Especially in the post office building, designed by Gustave Eiffel. As well as the neo-Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame. You will also visit the highest sacred Taoist place of worship the Chua Ngoc Hoang and the Jade Emperor Pagoda whose interior furnishings, decorations, and statuary are symbols of authority of divinity. It's veiled by clouds of smoke rising due to the burning incense, which creates a special atmosphere. Afterwards continue enjoying shopping in the bustling commercial area of Dong Khoi, "The Rue Catinat" of French settlers, at the Big Ben Thanh Market.

The morning is dedicated to visiting the endless attractions of Halong Bay. Return to the port where we will disembark.

Day 4:
HOI AN/DANANG - HUE(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Half day will be dedicated to visiting Hoi An by cyclo. Although afterwards, you can walk along the charming streets of Hoi An that are lined with dozens and dozens of shops, boutiques and art galleries. Then visit the lovely Japanese bridge, before visiting a temple of the rich Chinese community. Continue the tour, by entering the former home of a powerful merchant of the past centuries. Ending with the silk factory, where you are amongst thousands of tempting items to purchase. For more sophisticated travelers, you can purchase elegant suits.

Half-day visit of Danang. Visit the rocky massif of Ngu Hanh Son. Known as the "Five Marble Mountains" or the "Five Elements and Water" or Thuy Son. Discover a fascinating maze of cave temples, hidden within the five sacred marble hillocks. At the foot of the mountain, in Dong Hai Village, hundreds of families still devote themselves to the old art of stonework. Follow a brief stone staircase, which leans against the rock wall which was built at the time of Emperor Minh Mang who built the Linh Ung Pagoda. One of the most revered places of worship in the region. Then we will proceed to visit the Cham Museum in Danang. Built in 1961by Ecole Francais D'Extreme-Orient. Which recently was expanded and renovated. In its rooms, you will discover the masterpieces of Cham statues ranging from the VII Century till the IXIV century.
Transfer to Hue. The former capital of Vietnam from 1805 to 1945.

Day 5:
HUE - SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Full day excursion of Hue. The Nguyen emperors began building the mighty City of Citadela (Prohibited City) at the center of the magnificent imperial city in 1802. The city contains the Hall of the Five Phoenixes, the Peace Palace Supreme and the Dynastic Temple: The Mieu. The grand buildings are arranged in a harmonic succession, according to geomantic principles enshrined in Chinese science.

The visit continues up the Valley of the Perfume River to reach the Imperial Mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Then visit the Heavenly Lady Pagoda, Thien Mu and Huong Giang which is located on the left bank of the Perfume river. Ending with a pleasant walk among the banks of the big Dong Ba market.

Then transfer to the Hotel in Saigon.

Day 6:
SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Half-day visit to Cu Chi tunnels. We leave Saigon and head to visit the Cu Chi tunnels, the famous underground city of the Vietcong. Who managed to create an incredible underground network of warehouses, dorms, armories, kitchens, infirmaries and command posts linked together by 250 kilometers of tunnels and galleries of those who resisted. The tunnels stayed untouched for the next years from bombs and attacks by the American troops. The tunnels were first built during the French occupation but during the war with the USA they were developed. Some facilities were made available to the public and mannequins are mounted with weapons at strategic guard points. While visiting this site, we will watch a documentary movie shot by the Vietcong.

In the afternoon, we return back to the city center for the second half of the day. During the visit in the heart of Saigon, we will visit the War Remnants Museum and the square where the colonial era is revived. Especially in the post office building, designed by Gustave Eiffel. As well as the neo-Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame. You will also visit the highest sacred Taoist place of worship the Chua Ngoc Hoang and the Jade Emperor Pagoda whose interior furnishings, decorations, and statuary are symbols of authority of divinity. It's veiled by clouds of smoke rising due to the burning incense, which creates a special atmosphere. Afterwards continue enjoying shopping in the bustling commercial area of Dong Khoi, "The Rue Catinat" of French settlers, at the Big Ben Thanh Market.
