Lying just 56 miles off the coast of Florida, Grand Bahama Island is the northernmost of all the Bahamas and the closest major island to the United States. Discovered by the Spanish and for centuries a favoured spot for pirates who would lure ships onto its reefs, nowadays it is the island’s stunning shallow blue waters and powder white sand that attract visitors from all over the world.


Hop aboard your ferry at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale and in just three hours of cruising through crystal clear waters you will arrive at your Caribbean paradise. Once there you will have six hours to enjoy this beautiful and alluring island.

Meeting/pick-up point: Pick-up from selected hotels in Miami Beach and Downtown Miami between 4.45am and 6am.

Duration: Fast ferry ride: three hours approx.

Start/opening time: Free time in the Bahamas is approximately from 11am to 5pm.
