Give your stay in Miami the ultimate seal of approval with a seal swim experience. Come along and take a dip alongside the harbour’s friendliest dwellers: its very own smiley seals. This is an unparalleled programme, which includes both deep and shallow water interaction with everyone’s favourite sea mammal.

Your seal swim experience begins the moment you strip off your everyday gear and slip into a wetsuit. One of our charismatic seal trainers will then give you a brief but comprehensive safety talk before taking the plunge. Once you are all geared up and have a head full of know-how, it is time to slip into the waters.

Enjoy a leisurely 15 to 20 minutes swim alongside these magnificent creatures. It won’t take you long to realise that they are as intelligent as they are adorable. These playful mammals just can’t get enough of playing with the people that come to visit them in their own homes! They are indeed very generous hosts.

Throughout the interaction, you will be invited to swim on your own account next to the seals. You will then be personally introduced to your new aquatic friends and will receive some thrilling hugs and kisses. Then take part in a delightful training session where the seals will show off their skills. To wrap up the experience, you are also invited to a day of shows and exhibits at the mesmerising Miami Seaquarium; it’s going to be a splash!



Meeting/pick-up point: 4400 Rickenbacker Causeway Miami, FL 33149.
Duration: Approximately 15-20 minutes swim. Please allow 1 ½ hour for the whole Seal Swim program .
Start/opening time: Miami Seaquarium is open from 10am to 6pm, 7 days a week. Participants must check in by 12pm.
End/closing time: 6pm.
Languages: English.
Others: Participating children ages 5-9 must be accompanied at all times by a paying adult who also is participating in the seal swim. Participants 10-17 years must be accompanied by a paying adult as an observing guest or participant. This program is not available to expectant mothers. All Participants that are going in the water must be able to understand directions given in English or provide a translator who will also be participating in the water with them
