Hop on and off at your leisure to create your own customised journey around the city. Cruise across the bay to the infamous Alcatraz Island, known today as 'The Rock'. Two free walking tours are also included in the price of the excursion.

Among the 20 key points of interest around San Francisco, you will see Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf, the famous Painted Ladies, the bustling neighbourhoods of Little Italy and Chinatown, and the counter-culture Mecca of Haight Ashbury. And, of course, the emblematic Golden Gate Bridge that spans San Francisco Bay.

On the walking tours, a qualified guide will lead you on a delightful stroll through some of San Francisco's famous districts, Chinatown and the North Beach area.

Having explored the city, take the ferry across the bay to the most notorious prison in the world, Alcatraz. Fifty years after it closed, its name still sends a shiver down the spine. This tour includes an award-winning 45 minute audio presentation that features recordings of former employees and inmates of the federal penitentiary. See the cells and learn all about the attempted escapes. You'll also have plenty of time to explore the island on your own.
