Program details

Touring the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge is both easy and fun. This fully guided tour ticks all of the boxes - departing from Fisherman's Wharf; it crosses the Golden Gate Bridge, and ends up in Sausalito before you return to San Francisco by ferry. The tour is designed for all abilities of bikers, and the electric bikes allow riders to choose between pedalling under their own steam, electric motor power, or a little bit of both.

Highlights include the Bay Trail in the Presidio National Park, the Marina Green with views of the Palace of Fine Arts, and Fort Mason with its beautiful vistas of San Francisco Bay and the (in)famous Alcatraz. Once the tour has crossed the bridge, the next stop is at the Northern Vista Point, before continuing to Sausalito, famous for its eclectic shops – perfect for picking up some gifts – as well as its art galleries, fantastic restaurants, and its funky and friendly houseboat community.

After all that shopping and sightseeing, you can return to Fisherman's Wharf via ferry, or hold onto the bike for some additional leisure time in Sausalito, returning to San Francisco at your own pace and at no added cost. Directions, maps and a ferry schedule will be supplied for those who choose to explore a little more of Sausalito and Tiburon.
