This full-day tour will allow you to explore America’s coolest city at your own pace and to see almost all of the famous 49-mile drive past beautiful beaches, peaceful parks and interesting districts the bay area has to offer.

Buckle up for the drive of your life on a GoCar through San Francisco and its breathtaking environs. This full-day tour will allow you to explore America’s coolest city at your own pace and to see almost all of the famous 49-mile drive past beautiful beaches, peaceful parks and interesting districts the bay area has to offer.

Among the many landmarks and attractions that you will zoom by will be the former US Army sites of Fort Mason and Crissy Field, the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, the triple treat of Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point and the Presidio, the Legion of Honor museum, the homes of the rich and famous, Lincoln Park, the Cliff House, Ocean Beach, the Sixties hippy hangout of Haight Ashbury and the colourful Victorian architecture of the ‘Painted Ladies’ of Alamo Square.

You will also be able to pass by the Palace of Fine Arts, enjoy a roller-coaster drives along Russian Hill, North Beach and the hairpin bends of Lombard Street before hitting the Downtown area off Union Square, the skyscrapers of the Financial District and the world-famous Chinatown.

Then you can head out along the waterfront to see Pier 39, where hundreds of sea lions hangout, and the Embarcadero as well as the vibrant Fisherman’s Wharf district, which is famed for being the starting point of the most famous movie car chase of all time.



Meeting/ Pick up point: Either GoCar Union Square - 431 Beach Street, or GoCar Fisherman's Wharf -321 Mason Street.
Start or opening time: 9am.
End or closing time: 6pm.
Others: You must be 21 years of age to rent a GoCar and 18 years to drive one.
