Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of beautiful Bangalore in the heart of India’s very own ‘Silicon Valley’. See the vast Vidhan Soudha, an epic blend of neo-Dravidian and Mughal-Gothic architecture, explore the monumental Cubbon Park as well as some fascinating museums, the botanic gardens, the ancient fort of Tipu Sultan and the awe-inspiring Bull Temple. This tour has it all: culture, history, scenery and technology.

The Vidhan Soudha is the state secretariat of Karnataka, India’s eighth largest state. Built after independence, it is a marvel of modern architecture as it appears to be much older than it really is and amalgamates traditional Dravidian elements with the Mughal-Gothic designs so beloved of the British colonialists. Head to the nearby Cubbon Park and admire a number of neo-classical government buildings, including the State Archaeological Museum – one of the oldest in India – and the Visvesvaraya Technological and Industrial Museum, which celebrates this city at the cutting edge of technology.

Admire the Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, where a number of flower shows are hosted and which is located on the southern fringes of the city. Visit the battle-scarred Tipu Sultan's Fort, which dates from the 16th century and protects within its sturdy walls the sultan’s wooden palace. Cap off a fascinating day on a spiritual high with a visit to the Dodda Basavana Gudi Temple, which is dedicated to Nandi the Bull. This intricate piece of Dravidian architecture is a sight to behold and an extremely important place of worship for Hindus.
